
This past week, students celebrated St. Patrick's Day by writing about and setting leprechaun traps, wearing green, and dancing with friends. We're lucky to have such a fun and fabulous school community.

The class of 2024 is working hard meeting demanding requirements to earn their Purple Pass, which allows them to leave the building for lunch. Several students have earned their purple pass and have experienced this privilege. Way to go, Seniors!


On Friday, Mr. Brad Bostjancic, Coudersport’s junior high learning support teacher and former drug and alcohol counselor, met with Mr. Marzo’s psychology class. During this time, students asked questions about drugs and alcohol and their impact on the human brain. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Mr. B.



Today, Mr. Klepfer's 7th grade science class is answering the question, "Why would farmers cut down the rainforest, or other ecosystems, to grow crops?


The legion is all set for tomorrow night. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community we have a TON of great items to give away. Come out and join us tomorrow from 4:00-10:00 pm! You can purchase dinner tickets at the door or just come in to bid on items.








7th grade students in Mrs. Askins' English read The Giver and then created their own communities to solve problems they saw in society, including environmental problems, laziness, poverty, and inflation. The project also gave them a good chance to practice teamwork.


Through the work of Mr. Ingalls and Mrs. Kellogg writing a grant, our school was fortunate to receive a plasma table. We are one of a couple local schools that now have one. It’ll be used for drafting classes and collaborative efforts with welding; Eventually opening up even more collaboration within our school! On Monday, April 8 CASD will have a two hour release because of the eclipse.

PSEA President, Aaron Chapin, made a special visit to the district today, thanks to the efforts of CAEA President, Casey VanWhy. During his visit, President Chapin took time to read to students.




The scholarship fundraiser is this Saturday, March 16!
PreK and kindergarten created two amazing spring gardening baskets for the fundraiser.




TPR: Evanchick, Community Affairs Officer, from the PSP presented to our 7th grade class about the upcoming Camp Cadet opportunity (June 10-14th) 7th grade was given applications. Great opportunity. Cost is $25 and is at Penn-York this year.

Good luck to our Rolling Falcon bocce team as they travel to state college to compete in the regional tournament. The winner will advance to the state tournament. Go Falcons!!


For any parent interested, Mrs. Minard will give a 24-25 scheduling overview presentation to parents of students currently in grades 8-11 on Thursday night, March 7th at 6-7pm in the LGI room (during Parent/Teacher Conferences). All are welcome to attend.
