Coudersport Jr./Sr. High School is excited to kick off our Month of Merry beginning December 2 through December 19. Throughout these days, students and staff are invited to join in a series of fun and festive dress-up themes to celebrate the holiday season and bring some extra joy to our school community.

Each day features a simple theme—such as White Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Candy Cane Day, Christmas Color War, Flannel Friday, Grinchy Green, and more. Themes include everything from wearing white and light blue, to dressing in red and white like a candy cane, to showing off your Christmas socks or favorite flannel. We’ll also celebrate community favorites such as Family Portrait Day, Falcon Christmas, and Ugly Sweater Day.

Participation is completely optional, but we encourage our students and staff to join the fun and help spread some holiday cheer. These themed days provide a lighthearted way to build community, create memories, and bring smiles to our halls as we head into winter break.

Families and community members can follow along as we share photos and updates on our social media platforms and school website throughout the month. We’re excited to celebrate together and embrace the spirit of the season here at Coudersport.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and school programs.

Go Falcons, and Happy Holidays! 🎄🦅

Students in Ms. Keifer’s 7th grade are finishing up their percent application unit with a shopping spree project! They needed to “buy” items of their choice and find the total cost including sales tax, discount, tip for lunch, commission their car salesman earned for their vehicle purchases, how much a car loan would cost, including interest and their monthly payment for 7 years. Students also had the option of “buying” a house and figuring out the loan amount with interest and their monthly mortgage payment. The kids had a lot of fun doing this!

Yesterday, we had our Bright Spot Assembly for 7th - 12th grade! We celebrated ALL good things kids are doing! Please note, we understand students grow and learn at different rates and it’s not a competition, this is a fun way for us to celebrate, cheer, and have some fun with our students.

Basic stats:

Between Keystones and PSSA 49 students achieved advanced scores!
Two students achieved a perfect PSSA math score!
STEM / Robotics received an innovation award for their competition!
And take a peep at all those amazing GPAs across ALL our falcon involvement!
Some of the highest achievers will receive pizza parties (thanks to our amazing PTSA)!

Let's go Falcons!

There is no emergency at the Coudersport Jr/Sr High School. A fire alarm did go off in the school that was not planned, therefore, the Coudersport Fire Department did arrive on scene. All students, faculty and staff evacuated the building safely and have been allowed back in the building.

Mrs. Confer's third grade class recently earned 20 “cookies” in their reward jar by making good choices and following the Falcon Four. The class voted to have a reading “camp in” with flashlights and s’mores! It was cozy and fun!

Spud Growers FFA at the Lake Erie Maple Expo! Spud Growers FFA members attended the Lake Erie Maple Expo and participated in the Pennsylvania FFA Maple Career Development Event! Students had the opportunity to attend educational sessions, evaluate maple sap and syrup samples, determine proper tap placement in maple trees, identify industry tools, complete a written test, and share their own educational display. It was a great day of hands-on learning and skill building in Pennsylvania’s growing maple industry!
